Well, it’s spring time in Ohio. Or is it? Spring is the long awaited season after a long, cold, snowy winter. Living in Ohio, we are fortunate enough to experience all four seasons. Although, at times, it seems one or two of them are either cut short or almost non-existent, depending on your preference of warmer or cooler temperatures.

It may seem biased, but Sugarcreek and the surrounding towns are truly one of the most beautiful best Amish places to visit, or live and experience the seasons. As you watch the snow melt and the temperatures rise, you see everything that comes to life. Who isn’t excited to see the first green sprouts that appear in their flower beds and gardens, the anticipation of the beautiful flowers and the fresh vegetables that begin to grow, and the aroma of dirt, and grass being mowed for the first time? It’s a wonderful time of the year!

So what makes Sugarcreek one of the best Amish places to visit? As the grass begins turning green and the trees start filling with leaves, it’s a great time of the year to be out and about. Take the time to plan a trip to Amish Country and experience some of these things for yourself. There are plenty of things to do. Drive down a country road with the windows down, find a place to eat some great cooking or do some shopping at the local craft stores. These are just a few things that this area is known for. And who knows; you just might end up staying the night at a local bed and breakfast and wake up to a horse and buggy going by. Be prepared to unwind, feel yourself relax and enjoy a peaceful day in the sights and sounds of the local culture. And tell all your friends about it when it’s over. So if you’re looking for the best Amish places to visit, come to Sugarcreek, Ohio and find out what all the buzz is about.

very interested in a barn custom home, cabin, and payment options. As well as the duration of the financing, is there a credit check, down payment, and as far as electric, water, and plumbing?? Can you put it on foundation now or wait until it is completly paid in full??
